This is the file -READ-.ME on the TeX82 distribution directory.  The purpose
of this file is to provide brief documentation of the other files on this
directory, plus an indication as to the date on which each one was most
recently updated.  Any time new versions of some files are installed, their
entries are moved to the top of the list, along with a note indicating the
date, and a small description of what changed.

Currently, these files are all on <TeX.WEB> at SU-SCORE.

 POOLTYPE.WEB	Small program that prints out pool files from Tangle.
 POOLTYPE.TEX	Used to test Weave.
 TRIPIN.LOG	This file is output during TRIP.TEX running on INITEX.
 TRIP.TEX	Test suite for TeX82.
 TRIP.TYP	Output from DVItype on TRIP.DVI.
 TRIP.LOG	Output by TeX while running TRIP.
 PLAIN.TEX	The basic macro package for TeX82.
 TEX82.DIF	Tells what's new in TeX82.
 TEX.WEB	TeX!
 TEX.TOPS20-CHANGES	Change file for TeX82 on TOPS-20.
 PLTOTF.TOPS20-CHANGES	Change file for PLtoTF on TOPS-20.
 TFTOPL.TOPS20-CHANGES	Change file for TFtoPL on TOPS-20.
 TEX82.BUG	Tells of all the changes made to TeX82 since version 0.

 TRIP.TFM	Used in the TRIP.TEX test suite.  Also tests PLtoTF and TFtoPL.
 TFTOPL.WEB	TFtoPL.
 DVITYPE.WEB	Dvitype.
 TRIPOS.TEX	This file is output during TRIP.TEX.
 TRIP.PL	Matches TRIP.TFM, use to check PLtoTF and TFtoPL.

These are support files that you shouldn't have to worry about.

 UNDEK.SAI	Translates files from SUAI character set-for internal use only!
 CHAR.SET	Documents the cHaracter set we use on distribution tapeS.
